About
Given during the Where 2.0 Online Conference "An Emphasis on iPhone Sensors" on the 3rd of December 2009. The associated live coding demo is also available as a screencast along with the associated sample code (646KB).
The iPhone, like a lot of high-end smart phones these days, comes with a number of sensors: camera, accelerometer, GPS, proximity, magnetometer (digital compass). The first half of this session will cover the parameters and functions for each sensor. The second half will be a live coding of an accelerometer based app. We'll be demonstrating the use of iSimulate as a tool to capture your iPhone's movement. Each section will also have an equal amount of Q&A time.
