The associated sample code updated for iOS4 (800KB)

Given as a free O'Reilly webcast "An introduction to building mapping applications for the iPhone and iPad" on the 28th of April and the 28th of September 2010. The associated sample code (800KB) for the application built during the webcast (now updated for iOS4) is also available.

This webcast will discuss how to use both the CoreLocation and MapKit frameworks to build map-based applications on the iPhone platform. It will talk you through how to build, embed and annotate maps directly into you iPhone applications. We'll then go ahead and build a simple application which will find and continuously update the user's location on a map, while simultaneously displaying the user's current latitude, longitude and current heading.
